BABC LA President and host James Langridge is delighted to highlight the British Benevolent Society, a 501(C)3 founded in San Francisco in 1858, to provide aid and relief to British citizens in need.
BBS representatives Charles Cockerton (President), Arif Damji (Board member) and Jennifer Baker (Executive Director) fill us in on the history of the BBS, which is rooted in California's Gold Rush, and what it does today for those struggling during the age of Covid19.
